Julianne and I lived in Los Angeles for several years before moving back to Pittsburgh to raise a family. We wanted to create a home that would peak our children's curiosity, enhance their spatial cognition and develop a deeper appreciation for their environment. Our home, Villa Vuoto, opened our sons' eyes and exploring minds to new experiences, modeled around ancestors still alive within them, through a clay tile roof, hand troweled stucco, vine covered arbors, mosaic tile and Murano blown glass.
